Vintage Omega Chronostop Driver Date White Dial Ref. 146.010 Cal. 920 - SOLD
Luxuwrist.com is proud to offer an excellent vintage Omega Chronostop Driver chronograph, reference 146.010. The Chronostop Driver was a watch introduced in the late 1960s and was meant to be worn under the wrist so that the time would be easy to read with the wearer’s hands in the typical driving position. A number of date and non-date variations of this watch exist, with the white dial variants being one of the rarest and most sought after. This Chronostop is powered by the caliber 920 movement, featuring a 60 second monopusher chronograph and a date. The pusher is depressed to start the chronograph, and pressed (and held) to stop the chronograph and read the time. Upon the pusher’s release, the seconds hand will reset to zero. Condition is per the photos and as described below: Case: 35mm stainless steel case in very good condition with minor wear throughout including various scratches and nicks on the case surface and sides, please see the photos for the best description of the case. Dial/Hands: Original dial and handset in mint condition. The dial shows no spotting or discoloration and is a beautiful off-white color with a racing style printed minute and second track. Hands are original black with patinated tritium. The chronograph seconds hand is red. Caseback: Crystal: Acrylic crystal in great, clear condition with no major scratching Movement: Original Caliber 920 hand wound 60 second chronograph movement in excellent condition with the watch keeping good time and all functions working as they should. Bracelet/Strap: New 18mm mesh bracelet with adjustable flip clasp. Accessories: None. Sold as watch and bracelet only.
