1985 Rolex Datejust 16013 9.8M Raised Roman Dial - SOLD

Here we have a great example of the legendary Rolex Datejust, reference 16013. This watch has an 8.9M serial number indicating 1985 production. This Datejust is all original, with a raised roman numeral dial, date disc with open 6’s and 9’s and domed acrylic crystal. It’s powered by the Rolex caliber 3035 automatic movement with quickset date.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: 36mm case in excellent condition with no major scratches or dents. The case shows bright polished sides and clean factory brushing on the lugs. The case has been previously polished but still has sharp, thick lugs.
Bezel: Fixed 18k yellow gold bezel in very good condition with crisp, deep fluting. The bezel is in excellent condition and does not have any major scratches, dings, or dents.
Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands in excellent condition. The dial is gold with raised roman numeral markers and gold hands. The tritium is all present and even on the hour markers and hands. Dial/hands are entirely original and have not been refinished.
Caseback: Original caseback in very good condition with some minor scratching and wear as shown.
Crystal: Original acrylic crystal in excellent condition. There are no deep scratches, chips, or cracks in the crystal.
Movement: Rolex caliber 3035 automatic movement with quickset date. The movement is in excellent condition and keeping great time. All functions work as they should. Service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: New unworn crocodile grain leather strap with Rolex gold plated buckle.
Box/Papers/Accessories: None. Sold as watch only.
