Tudor's modern reinvention with pieces that Rolex hadn't dared make has been nothing short of remarkable. The Black Bay has been a hit in all of its now three configurations, and the Pelagos has emerged as one of the best values in modern watchmaking. With its titanium case, 500m water resistance with a helium escape valve, and one of the best and most innovative bracelet clasps on the market, it's a surprise that these come in under $5,000. The throwback styling to the iconic and ever popular Tudor Snowflake Submariners doesn't hurt, either.
So we're offering this great value in modern watchmaking in great condition with its bracelet, rubber strap (that uses the bracelet end links for a killer seamless look), boxes and paperwork.
Case: 42mm titanium case in excellent condition, showing some light minor surface swirls. There are light nicks
Bezel: 60 click rotating bezel working perfectly with no signs of wear. Insert has no scratches or missing paint.
Dial/Hands: Matte black dial with sloped chapter ring and applied markers. Snowflake hands and dial markers give off an outstanding blue lume.
Caseback: Stainless steel caseback showing only very slight signs of wear.
Crystal: Sapphire with no scratches or chips.
Movement: Modified ETA 2824-2 keeping excellent time and all functions are working as intended. Watch has not been serviced as it was new in 2013.
Bracelet/Strap: Original titanium bracelet with steel clasp featuring the spring loaded extension in excellent condition. The bracelet has been seldom worn and shows almost no signs of wear, even at the clasp. Also includes the OEM rubber bracelet with titanium buckle and OEM rubber dive extension strap. The bracelet is sized for a 7.25” wrist on the spring extension but two full size links are included.
Accessories: The watch comes with the inner and outer boxes, the original instruction manual and warranty card filled out by an authorized dealer along with their holder, and the straps as described above.
