Vintage Heuer Autavia Chronograph Ref. 11630 Cal. 12
The Autavia has become one of the most legendary Heuer models with its modern sizing, period design, and motorsports and aviation heritage (Fun fact: The name comes from the combination of auto and aviation.) Powered by the micro-rotor automatic Caliber 12 chronograph movement, this Autavia also features the popular Viceroy colorway, although this watch is well past the promotion dates for the Viceroy watches and has a mineral crystal compared to the 1163's acrylic crystal. This Autavia is freshly serviced and in excellent condition.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: 42mm case in very good condition with no major damage. There are some light scratches and scuffs throughout commensurate with age. The original polished chamfers are still present and very strong as is the sunburst radial brushing on the case top indicating a previously unpolished case.
Bezel: 60 click bidirectional tachymeter. Bezel action is smooth. The insert is a replacement but the steel bezel is original.
Dial/Hands: Original matte black dial with red accents. Dial is in outstanding condition, with original tritium lume which has faded to an even creamy patina. The hands are also original tritium and in excellent condition.
Caseback: Original caseback in very good condition with very minor scratching and wear as shown.
Crystal: Excellent mineral glass crystal with no scratching, cracking, or chips.
Movement: Heuer Cal. 12 automatic chronograph movement in excellent running condition. The watch keeps great time and the chronograph starts, stops, and resets to zero. Movement was just serviced in September 2019.
Bracelet/Strap: New unworn brownperforated leather rally style strap with white stitching and polished SS buckle.
Box/Papers/Accessories: None. Sold as watch only.
