No watch has a history as rich as the Omega Speedmaster, and unfortunately since none of us are likely to set foot on the moon, as watch enthusiasts we lust after the same gear these legendary explorers strapped on the outside of their spacesuits. This 145.012-67, powered by the venerable and collectible Caliber 321, brings us just a tiny bit closer to that small step and giant leap.
This Speedmaster has most of its signature traits intact, the applied logo dial with long, fully intact tritium hour markers and wide "T SWISS T" spacing, spear tailed chronograph seconds hand, and dot over 90 bezel are all original and in very good condition as pictured.
Condition as follows:
Case: Very good ocndition with well defined edges and crisp transitions between the brushed and polished surfaces.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 bezel in excellent condition with sparse minor nicks on the bezel ring and the painted insert is in excellent condition with only very light spots of wear.
Dial/Hands: Dial is original with long markers and an applied logo and wide "T SWISS T" spacing. The hour markers are intact and very attractive with an even patina with a few darker spots as pictured. The hands are also original with darker patina, although the spear ended chrono seconds hand closely matches the hour plots in color. The dial is extremely clean and free from scratching or spotting.
Caseback: Original 145.012-67 caseback in fair condition as pictured. The caseback has been previously polished, however the engravings are still visible.
Crystal: Newly replaced OEM Omega acrylic crystal free of marks.
Movement: Caliber 321 manual wound chronograph movement. Watch is running great with smooth winding and chrono operation. All functions work as they should including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. 25.00 million serial number dates production to 1967.
Bracelet/Strap: A new dark grey leather vintage style strap is included.
Accessories: None.
