Here we have a nice example of the Caliber 861-powered Pre Moon Speedmaster Professional, reference 145.022-69. This watch is mostly original, with a stepped dial, Hippocampus caseback and dot over 90 bezel.
Take a look at the photos and our condition description below:
Case: Stainless steel case in very good vintage condition with thick lugs and crisp edges throughout the case. There is a ding on the 10 o'clock lug as pictured. The pushers appear original, but the crown looks to be a replacement.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 bezel in very good condition with some small areas of missing paint as pictured.
Dial/Hands: Dial is original stepped tritium with even, creamy patina on the hour markers. The dial shows some light surface wear in certain light that is visible in the photos. The hands are also original with matching patina. There is some cracked lume in the minute hand as shown.
Caseback: Original 145.022-69 caseback in very good vintage condition as pictured with easily legible engravings.
Crystal: Original Omega hesalite crystal with skinny logo embossed in the center in very good condition free of any major scratching.
Movement: Caliber 861 manual wound chronograph movement. Watch is running great with smooth winding and chrono operation. All functions work as they should including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. 28.4 million serial number dates production to 1969. Service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: New vintage style brown leather strap.
Accessories: None, sold as watch only.
