The PAM64 was Panerai's first 1000m rated watch, and made in a limited series of 500 pieces in 2000. It came with a number of styling cues taken from Panerai's history, taking the styling of the famous "Egiziano" bezel and case in this modern interpretation of a bulletproof diver.
The special edition came with a large box set with special hand written parchment scrolls outlining the limited series and the technical features of the watch, along with an extra rubber strap. The watch came to be known as "La Bomba" and remains one of the most collectible modern Panerai watches of the modern era.
This PAM64 comes complete with the original Special Edition set, including the large presentation box, outer cardboard box, rubber strap, warranty and special edition booklet, warranty card, COSC certification, and special edition scrolls. The watch is an excellent example of this reference in wonderful condition with an original tritium dial and a very crisp case and bezel.

Case and Bezel: 44mm Luminor stainless steel case in excellent condition with only minor wear and very light marks on the case surface. The bezel is a 60 click unidirectional bezel with circular grain brushing in outstanding condition with signature wide 15 degradations for the first 15 minutes.
Dial/Hands: Matte black dial with tritium-filled applied markers, and surroundless arabic markers at 12 and 6. The hour markers have faded to a gorgeous, even, rich tan patina. A silver concentric circle finished sub seconds dial at 9 provides a contrast, and a black date wheel completes the look. The hands are luminova units replaced at a previous factory service. The dial and hands are in outstanding condition and free from marks or blemishes.
Caseback: SS caseback in outstanding shape with all markings crisp. There is a sticker on the caseback's flat surface to prevent any damage to the back.
Crystal: Original sapphire crystal with internal date magnifier free of any scratches, swirls, cracks or chips.
Movement: Panerai caliber OPIII COSC automatic movement in excellent condition with all functions working as they should.
Bracelet/Strap: Brown Italian made leather strap in very good condition, just cleaned and moisturized. The strap has the original Panerai thumbnail buckle. The original extra OEM Panerai rubber strap is also included as pictured.
Accessories: The original full special edition set is included with all of the accessories pictured and described above.
