The pre-moon Speedmaster will always be a favorite among collectors, and is arguably the most historically important watch ever made. These early caliber 861 pre-moons are becoming more difficult to find in excellent condition like the piece offered here. This is a wonderful example of an original 145.022-69, with its key original components intact and a fresh factory service ensuring mechanical reliability.

Case: 42mm stainless steel case in excellent condition. The case is extremely sharp with crisp edges between the brushed and polished surfaces.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 (DON) bezel in excellent condition with strong color and only minor spots of paint loss as pictured.
Dial/Hands: Dial is original stepped tritium in excellent condition with matching, creamy intact lume. Hands are also original with matching tritium in excellent condition.
Caseback: Original 145.022-69 caseback in very good vintage condition as pictured with nice crisp engravings.
Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal free of any scratching or marks.
Movement: Caliber 861 manual wound chronograph movement. 29.6 million serial number dates production to circa 1969. The watch just underwent a factory Omega service in 2017 and is operating in flawless mechanical condition.
Bracelet/Strap: New vintage style brown leather strap.
Accessories: None, sold as watch only.
