Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Ref. 3570.50 Cal. 1861 - SOLD
The Speedmaster Professional is arguably the most important watch ever made for its association with NASA and the space program during the Apollo missions and beyond. It also helps that the watch is a deign classic, with an extremely legible tri-compax dial, clean crisp design with twisted lugs and mixed case finishing, and an extremely durable hand wound chronograph movement.
This Speedmaster from circa 2010 is in excellent condition as pictured and entirely original.
Condition is shown in the photos and as follows:
Case: 42mm stainless case in excellent condition with only very minor surface marks. Case is unpolished and the brushed and polished surfaces retain their crisp factory finish.
Bezel: Black tachymeter bezel in mint condition with no dings or dents. Insert has no deep scratches or missing paint.
Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands in mint condition with strong lume.
Caseback: Moonwatch engraved caseback with intact paint and crisp inscriptions including the Omega 'Globe". Caseback shows some scratching as shown in the photos.
Crystal: OEM Hesalite crystal in excellent condition with no major signs of wear.
Movement: Caliber 1861 hand wound chronograph movement. The movement is in excellent condition and keeping great time all functions working as they should. The chronograph resets to zero. 77.75M serial number dates production to circa 2010. Service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: Original OEM Omega 1998 bracelet in excellent shape, with only minor marks on the clasp and links consistent with normal wear. Bracelet is linked to fit a 7.25” wrist.
