NOS 2002 Rolex Datejust Ref. 16220 - Stickered Complete Collector's Set K Series - SOLD
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most timeless watch designs ever, with a nearly unmatched versatility proven by its largely unchanged design for over half a century. We're happy to have unearthed this gem collectible example of the legendary Datejust, a new old stock, unworn example of reference 16220 Datejust in steel. This watch was purchased new and stuck away in a safe, even retaining its original protective stickers on the case. This Datejustis from 2002, manufactured with a K series serial number and accompanied by its original dated warranty papers, inner and outer boxes, and hang tags.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: 36mm stainless steel case. The case still retains most of its original protective stickers on the polished sides which show some light peeling as pictured. There is no sticker on the 10 o'clock lug as pictured. There is one small nick on the 7 o'clock lug from storage.
Bezel: Fixed engine turned stainless steel bezel in new condition as pictured.
Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands in perfect condition. Dial is silver sunburst with applied "stick" markers and polished solid (no lume) hands. Dial lume is strong.
Caseback: Original caseback in new condition with original stickers as pictured.
Crystal: Blemish free sapphire crystal.
Movement: Rolex caliber 3135 automatic movement with quickset date. The movement is in excellent condition and keeping great time. All functions work as they should.
Bracelet/Strap: Original 63250 jubilee bracelet which has not been sized.
Box/Papers/Accessories: The original inner and outer boxes, warranty certificate, booklets, polishing cloth, chronometer tag and serialized hang tag are included.
