1990 Omega Speedmaster Professional Ref. 3590.50 Cal. 861 - SOLD
The Omega Speedmaster Professional is arguably the most important watch ever made, and its importance and timeless design have made the made the Speedmaster a staple for collectors. We're pleased to offer this excellent example of the reference 3590.50 Moonwatch. This watch is original down to the tritium dial and hands which have developed a wonderful creamy patina, and the caliber 861 beating away inside is in excellent mechanical shape and with a serial number dating the watch to 1990.

Case: 42mm stainless steel case in very good vintage condition as pictured with sharp edges and thick lugs and appears unpolished. There are even remnants of the original red wax seal on the back of the case as pictured.There are minor signs of wear throughout the case commensurate with use but no major blemishes.
Bezel: Original tachymeter bezel in very good condition with very minimal signs of wear as pictured.
Dial/Hands: Dial is original matte black tritium in excellent condition with intact lume plots and a pleasing even patina on the hour markers. Hands are also original tritium with a patina that matches the dial.
Caseback: Original moon landing stamped caseback in very good condition as pictured with nice crisp engravings stamped 145.0022 inside.
Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal in excellent condition as pictured.
Movement: Caliber 861 manual wound chronograph movement. 48.26 million serial number dates production to circa 1990. The watch runs great and keeps good time, with all movement functions working as intended, including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. Service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: OEM Omega reference 1479 bracelet with 812 end links in very good condition as pictured. Bracelet will fit up to an 8" wrist comfortably.
