Omega Seamaster Soccer Timer Chrono Ref. 145.019 Cal. 861 Roulette Bezel, Serviced - SOLD
If you’re familiar with our offerings, we’ve taken a certain liking to the Soccer Timer. It’s so quintessential late 60s/early 70s with the cushion case and funky colors, but still fits in with modern vinage-inspired styles. The Soccer Timer came in three variants, a smaller version with no outer internal bezel, a version with a fixed internal tachy bezel, and the version you see here, the largest 42mm variant with an internal rotating bezel.
The rotating bezel models came in a handful of configurations, including a 0-60 timing bezel, a 12 hour counter, a 60-0 countdown bezel, and finally the "roulette" style 24 hour counter featured on this watch.
The Soccer Timer is a unique model that has an additional 45-minute counter on the minute totalizer portion of the chronograph to accurately time 45 minute long halves in a soccer match. Along with the unique function is a set of very vibrant and unique color combinations, with this model being no exception as you can see from the photos. The grey dial with splashes of red, orange, and white make it easy to get lost staring at your wrist with the Soccer Timer on.
Here we have an Omega Seamaster Soccer Timer chronograph, reference 145.019 with a 29 Million serial number dating production to approximately 1969. This example is in excellent condition, with an excellent condition case, great dial and hand set, and original parts.
