1956 Omega Small Seconds Ref. 2639-2 Caliber 265
Up for sale is a classic small seconds design Omega 2639-2, which features a 35mm case with twisted lugs, a silver dial with large military-style printed arabic hour markers and a small seconds register in the "Calatrava" style. This watch is in great shape for its age being from circa 1956, and retains its original parts.

Case: 35mm stainless steel case in very good vintage condition as pictured. The polished case shows only minimal signs of wear with no major dings or dents and crisp edges throughout with bright surfaces.
Bezel: Original stainless steel polished bezel in excellent condition with minor signs of surface wear as shown in the photos.
Dial/Hands: Original dial in very good vintage condition. The dial has military-style arabic printed markers that have remained mostly intact as pictured and a silver concentric sub-seconds register. The dial shows some light spotting as shown in the photos. The hands are original with mostly intact original radium lume with a small section missing in the hour hand.
Caseback: Original caseback in good vintage condition as pictured. Caseback is marked 2639-2 inside.
Crystal: Acrylic crystal in excellent condition. There are no deep scratches, chips, or cracks in the crystal.
Movement: Omega caliber 265 15 jewel manual wound movement in very good condition as pictured. Service history is unknown. 15 million serial number dates the watch to circa 1956.
Bracelet/Strap: New brown sueded leather strap with steel buckle as pictured.
Box/Papers/Accessories: None, sold as watch only.
