No watch has a history as rich as the Omega Speedmaster, and unfortunately since none of us are likely to set foot on the moon, as watch enthusiasts we lust after the same gear these legendary explorers strapped on the outside of their spacesuits. This 145.012-67, powered by the venerable and collectible Caliber 321, brings us just a tiny bit closer to that small step and giant leap. With a beautiful sharp case, original dot-over-90 bezel, dial with a great glossy patina on the dial and applied metal logo, we're proud to help find this Speedmaster a new home.
Condition as follows:
Case: Beautiful excellent condition case as shown in the photos with only minor marks. The brushed and polished surfaces are very crisp and the case has sharp edges.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 bezel with a few small spots of missing paint around the edges. Small dent on the 9 o’clock side of the case. but overall is very clean.
Dial/Hands: Dial is original with long markers and an applied logo but the lume plots no longer have their original tritium. There are some small spots on the minute subdial as pictured. Hands are luminova replacements with the correct fantail chrono seconds hand.
Caseback: Original 145.012-67 caseback in excellent condition with a crisp, well-pronounced seamonster.
Crystal: New OEM Omega crystal installed at servicing with Omega logo in the center.
Movement: Caliber 321 manual wound chronograph movement. Movement was just serviced in October 2015 by an Omega certified watchmaker. 26.5M serial number dates the watch's production to 1968.
Bracelet/Strap: Original 1039 bracelet in beautiful condition with 1967 production date. Fits a 7.25” wrist. No additional links are available although the bracelet has a number of stretch links to fit a larger wrist. Bracelet is in excellent condition with 516 end links.
Accessories: None.
