Panerai Luminor Marina 3 Days 1950 47mm PAM00372 - SOLD
The Panerai 372 is my personal favorite modern Panerai model. While original 1950s Panerai have been far priced out for most of us, the PAM372 brings back the vintage charm of the original Luminor but with the advantages of modern watchmaking. Coming in at 47mm, the case is a slightly different version of the "1950" case with a polished stainless steel finish but a contrasting brushed crown-protecting device. The watch features a sandwich dial with fantastic vintage style lume, and a domed acrylic crystal and polished yellow gold hands round out the vintage look. But all those old school looks are powered by a hand-wound, in-house Panerai caliber P.3000, with twin barrels and a three-day power reserve encased behind a sapphire display caseback. The 372 is my vote for the "ultimate" Panerai that blends the iconic heritage of the Luminor and modern Swiss watchmaking tech.
This 372 is an extremely clean example that is all original, ready to wear, and comes complete with original accessories, including the original inner and outer boxes, extra OEM brown leather strap, strap changing screwdriver, instruction booklet, bezel protector, and cleaning cloth.
Case & Bezel: 47mm stainless steel Luminor 1950 "fiddy" case in excellent condition as pictured. Case and bezel show only light wear.
Dial/Hands: Black sandwich dial with vintage style lume and polished yellow gold hands. The dial and hands are free from any defects.
Caseback: Sapphire display back showcasing the caliber P.3000 movement in excellent condition with all markings and engravings crisp.
Crystal: Original acrylic crystal with some very minor signs of wear. The spare acrylic crystal that originally comes with the watch is included and looks brand new and uninstalled.
Movement: Hand-wound in-house Panerai caliber P.3000 with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch functions flawlessly and keeps excellent time. The service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: Excellent condition original Panerai dark brown leather strap with original buckle. The OEM medium brown leather strap pictured is also included.
Accessories: The watch comes with original accessories, including the original inner and outer boxes and cardboard shipping box ("triple boxed"), extra brown leather OEM Panerai strap, strap changing screwdriver, instructional booklet, extra acrylic crystal, bezel protector, and cleaning cloth. The original papers are dated March 2013 as shown in the photos.
