Vintage Omega Seamaster Chronograph 145.016-69 Cal. 861 Radial Dial - SOLD
These Seamaster chronographs are a great time capsule of late 60s chronograph design with a 38mm stainless steel cushion case, and a "reverse panda" black dial with white subdials, laid out radially which adds a sporty element to the dial. The reverse panda layout also offers maximum legibility with contrasting white hands for timekeeping and contrasting black hands for the subdials. This Seamaster is powered by the Omega caliber 861 hand-wound chronograph movement also found in the legendary Speedmaster Professional.

Case: 38mm stainless steel case (exc. crown). The case is in very good vintage condition and retains its original polished chamfers and concentric brushing pattern on the case surface. There are light marks throughout commensurate with wear.
Dial/Hands: Original "reverse panda" dial with white center hands and contrasting black subdial hands. A Speedmaster chronograph seconds hand has been fitted at some point in the past.
Caseback: Original Seamaster caseback marked 145.016-69 inside (nice), with crisp Seamaster engravings on the outside and minimal wear as shown.
Crystal: OEM acrylic crystal in good vintage condition with minor wear and scratching but no crazing or cracking. Omega symbol is still present in the center, and appears to be the original crystal based on the "flat foot" embossed logo.
Movement: Original Caliber 861 hand-wound chronograph movement. Although service history is unknown, the watch keeps excellent time and the chronograph functions all perform as they should including start, stop, and reset to zero.
Bracelet/Strap: Like new brown vintage style leather strap.
