The Rolex Submariner is the ultimate versatile tool watch and has the pedigree to go with it. In 1984, Rolex decided to expand the range and offer the more colorful blue dialed two-tone version, with the case still in stainless steel but adding 14kt yellow gold accents. The two-tone sub has been a hit for the 30 years it's been available and adds a dressier look to the super functional Submariner. With its burst of color from the new blue perlon strap, the watch gets a wonderful tropical look and is ready for a stroll on the beach or night out on the town.
Here we are offering an excellent Rolex Submariner Ref. 16613 in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold with a blue dial and bezel insert. This Submariner is a “U” series indicating 1998 production.
This Rolex Submariner is in excellent pre-owned condition and ready to wear.
Condition is as follows:
Case: 40mm Stainless Steel and 18k yellow gold case in very good condition with minor scratching as shown in the photos. There are no deep gouges or large dents in the case.
Bezel: Original 18k unidirectional bezel in very good condition. Bezel action is smooth with a solid clicking. Bezel insert shows minor wear in a few spots as shown in the photos.
Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands in excellent condition.
Caseback: Original solid caseback in good condition with no major scratching or markings.
Crystal: Original sapphire crystal with a minor scratch near the 10 o’clock marker.
Movement: Rolex caliber 3135 automatic movement in great condition and working as it should. The watch keeps great time and all functions work as intended.
Bracelet/Strap: Brand new blue perlon strap.
Accessories: None.
