We're proud to offer a vintage example of the legendary Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, reference 145.022. This watch has a 39M serial number dating it to 1979.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: 42mm stainless steel case in excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear but no major deep scratches, dings, or dents.
Bezel: Original bezel in good condition with some edge wear as shown in the photos.
Dial/Hands: Original dial and hands. Tritium markers have faded to a darker coffee brown patina. Dial has a very attractive stardust pattern when seen in direct sunlight as shown in the photos. Under normal lighting conditions the dial appears completely black.
Caseback: Original Moonwatch caseback with inscription.
Crystal: Acrylic crystal with some minor surface scratches. There are no gouges, cracks or dings in the crystal.
Movement: Omega caliber 861 hand wound chronograph movement in good working order. Chronograph hands reset to zero. The hour totalizer experiences the common “hour creep” where it will run with the chronograph off occasionally. This can be fixed via a minor adjustment and will not require a full service to remedy. 39M serial. Service history is unknown.
Bracelet/Strap: Original 1171 bracelet with 633 end links. Currently sized for a 7.25” wrist but linked for 7.5”.
Accessories: None. Sold as watch and bracelet only.
