if you've been on the site before, you're well aware of our affinity for Omega Speedmasters. These watches have literally been to the moon and back, and have remained mostly unchanged throughout their nearly 60 year history. The Speedmaster is the Porsche 911 of watches, the benchmark by which others are judged.
Luxuwrist is proud to offer a 1991 Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. This watch comes equipped with a caliber 861 movement.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: 42mm case with wear consistent with daily use. The case sides appear to have been lightly polished.
Bezel: Original tachymetre bezel with wear as shown including missing paint rom the 130 to 90 markers and other minor spots of wear. The bezel has faded to a wonderful dark blue color in the sunlight.
Dial/Hands: Original matte black dial with tritium markers faded to a creamy patina. Hands are original tritium with a darker patina. The hour hand is missing a small amount of lume.
Caseback: Original moonwatch caseback marked 145.0022 inside. Paint from the moonwatch inscription has been worn away.
Crystal: Domed acrylic crystal with minor surface wear. There are no chips or cracks in the crystal.
Movement: Caliber 861 hand wound chronograph movement. The movement is keeping excellent time and all functions work as they should. Chronograph starts, stops, and resets to zero as it should.
Bracelet/Strap: Aftermarket black leather strap with stainless steel buckle in good condition.
Accessories: None. Sold as watch only.
