Luxuwrist.com is proud to offer a 1969 Omega Speedmaster Professional pre-moon, reference 145.022-68. This watch has the stepped and applied metal logo 321-style dial and dot over 90 bezel. This watch was just serviced in June 2015 and is keeping excellent time with all functions working perfectly.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: Original case in good condition with crisp brushing and bright polished areas on the twisted lugs. The case was not polished during service. There is one medium sized ding to the case on the 9 o’clock side as shown in the photos.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 configuration bezel in fair condition with missing paint in various places. The dot over 90 area is visible verifying the bezel configuration.
Dial/Hands: Original stepped dial with applied metal logo and hour markers extending to the edge. The lume has flaked off in some areas while the remaining lume has faded to a great creamy patina. The hands are original and have faded to a darker patina but have no missing paint and are in excellent condition.
Caseback: Like new OEM Omega NOS replacement caseback marked 145.012 inside as it is the only pre-moon caseback available. This watch is in fact a 145.022-68.
Crystal: Brand new OEM Omega hesalite crystal in perfect condition. Crystal has the embossed Omega symbol in the center. Some photos show what appears to be marks on the crystals but that is lint/dust. The crystal is brand new and flawless.
Movement: Cal. 861 movement just serviced in June 2015 and keeping outstanding time. All functions work as they should and the chronograph resets to zero. Movement serial number is 27327XXX.
Bracelet/Strap: New dark brown rally style leather strap. The light brown strap on the watch in some photos is not included.
Accessories: None, sold as watch and bracelet only.
