Luxuwrist.com is proud to offer a 1970 Omega Speedmaster Professional pre-moon, reference 145.022-69. This watch has a beautiful stepped dial that has turned to a tropical chocolate brown and dot over 90 bezel. This watch was just serviced in June 2015 and is keeping excellent time with all functions working perfectly.
Condition is per the photos and as follows:
Case: Original case in very good condition with crisp brushing and bright polished areas on the twisted lugs. The case was not polished during service. There are some very small dings on the bottom of the case on the 9 o’clock side visible in the photos.
Bezel: Original dot over 90 configuration bezel in excellent condition with a couple small areas of missing paint from the 400 to 275 markers.
Dial/Hands: Original stepped dial with printed logo. The lume has been removed at some point, most likely to deterioration, leaving white markers. The dial has turned to a beautiful tropical dark chocolate brown with the subdials remaining black and will continue to change color further with time. The color change is much more noticeable in the flesh as the photos were not able to accurately capture the color. The hands are OEM Omega modern luminova moonwatch replacements.
Caseback: Original pre-moon seamonster caseback in good condition as shown. Marked 145.022-69 inside.
Crystal: Brand new OEM Omega hesalite crystal in perfect condition. Crystal has the embossed Omega symbol in the center.
Movement: Cal. 861 movement just serviced in June 2015 and keeping outstanding time. All functions work as they should and the chronograph resets to zero. Movement serial number is 29119XXX.
Bracelet/Strap: Like new brown handmade leather strap with white stitching.
Accessories: None, sold as watch and bracelet only.
